Directors & Officers

C. W. Wellen – Currently Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Mr. Wellen retired in 1993 as senior partner of Fulbright and Jaworski, L.L.P. in charge of its Tax Department, after having been in the active practice of law with that firm since 1953.  He is currently Chairman Emeritus and Trustee of Clayton Foundation for Research, RDF Bio-Technologies, Inc., and Chairman and President of enviroTechologies Systems, Inc., all located in Houston, Texas.   His education includes BA and LLB degrees from West Virginia University and a LLM degree from Harvard Law School.  He served in the Army Infantry during WWII and in the U.S. Naval reserve as an officer in Naval Intelligence as an interpreter of Russian language.  Mr. Wellen is a co-inventor of AgriTec’s fine-celled foam, activated carbon and precipitated silica technologies.

Greg R. Wellen – Currently Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary, Director and President of enviroLife.  Mr. Wellen has served as Manager of enviroLife’s Nutri-Fern^TM Division since 1987 and has been involved in various capacities with the Company since that time.  He was educated at the University of Texas at Austin from which he received a B.A. degree in 1987.  Mr. Wellen is a co-inventor of AgriTec’s fine-celled foam and activated carbon technologies.

Dennis E. Gregg – Currently a Director.  Mr. Gregg has held senior positions at Conoco, Inc. including President of Conoco Norway, Inc. and Vice-President of International Exploration and Producing, Conoco, Inc.  He received a B.Sc. at the Colorado School of Mines and attended the International Senior Management Program at Harvard University.

Norman Faist – Currently a Director.  Mr. Faist has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and is President of his own firm in Houston, Texas.  He received a B.Sc. at the University of Texas - Austin and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

Douglas Young – Director since 2009.  Founder & Chairman of The Business Owners Network, LLC a private consulting firm.  Prior 2-1-09, Senior VP of RBC Wealth Management.

Willy Verbrugghe – Director, Chief Executive Officer since 7/10/2009.  CEO of Vehoco since 2002. Former President, CEO of six industrial manufacturing technology companies.

David Karohl – Chief Marketing Officer since 2/1/2010. Mr. Karohl has BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT, an MBA from Rice University , and 20+ years of experience in advanced materials businesses.

At Solvay, he managed production and engineering for inorganic processes similar to AgriTec’s, was Senior Business Development Manager for high purity hydrogen peroxide for semiconductor applications, and founded a disinfection business based on peroxyacetic acid products. Most recently, he served as Director of Business Development at Carbon Nanotechnologies, founded by Nobel Laureate Richard Smalley, where he was responsible for the world’s first commercial volume sales of single-wall carbon nanotubes.
